This solo class project was geared towards designing a self standing luminaire that is made out of parts that could be laser cut and shipped in a flat package. My main objectives were to mold light into an eloquent and enjoyable visual experience, make its construction flat for shipping, understand production feasibility & price point. Throughout this project I experimented and refined a form that is elegant and manufacturable.
